All methods have been run and tested on all 4D versions from 6.0 to 2003. They should run flawlessly on 4D 2004.
All methods are well documented and you should be able to easily find the entry point.
For those 4D programmers, here are some useful source code that you can use in your own development and is absolutely free. All we ask is that you leave the credits where they are.
