Textalyser
4D 6.5 or later; Mac or Windows versions
Textalyser is a text analysis tool. You can open up any file and analyses it character-by-character: it will show you the text in any font you choose, and you can click on any character to see its ASCII value. There are other utilities as well - see the read Me document that is included with the downloads. Currently it is provided only as 4th Dimension open source (in other words, you will need to have a copy of 4D Version 6.5 or later in order to use it). We plan to offer an executable version soon -- please contact us if you would like to know more about this.

Textalyser is provided as open source. You are free to view and modify the program. All we ask is that if you fix any bugs (not that there are any :) ) or add any useful new features, you share them with the 4D community by sending us, CatBase Software, your modified code.
